Eco friendly motorhome hire

We care how we treat our surroundings and the effect we have on God's creation. Our seven berth motorhome is maintained using eco-friendly cleaning products and chemicals. If you hire a motorhome from us we offer the opportunity to do the “green” things we do at home, such as recycling and composting. Please read our carbon policy for more information.

Safety first

Safety is hugely important to us. Our motorhome is kept clean and safe and we carry out a thorough safety check before each hire. We provide clear written instructions on how to use things safely and wisely. If you have any queries as you start out on your holiday we are only a phonecall away, leaving you free to enjoy each other's company and chase those rainbows at your leisure!

Those little extras

As parents we are always especially touched when those little extras are provided for our children to enjoy. So we provide a football for your first available field or beach and a Children's Box with games, finger puppets, paper and pencils. And there is a TV and DVD should the sun forget to shine!

Meet the Judsons!

Chasing Rainbows

As a Christian family, holidays are very important to us. Time flies so quickly and there always seems less “family memory making” time left than there should be. We travelled widely in the UK and around the world before settling in Cumbria and we really appreciate the advantages of living in such a beautiful part of the country.

Our aim with Chasing Rainbows is to help other families experience the beauty of the Peak District and beyond — in luxury but with family-friendly facilities close at hand. There's a lot of truth in the saying “If Mum's happy, everyone's happy!”

How Morris joined the family

We attend two church camps a year and after experiencing them under canvas Lisa flatly refused to do so ever again! Hiring a motorhome sounded ideal but we simply could not find a motorhome to rent at the right price at the time we needed it. We figured that if we couldn't hire a motorhome when we needed one then maybe others were in the same situation.

And so Morris the motorhome came to join the Judson family!

We now have the advantage of using Morris ourselves and hiring him out to like-minded people who are looking to create some family memories themselves in the stunning landscape of the English Peak District and the Midlands.
